8 Years left - Company Manifesto

8 Years Left was born from the urgent call to action: we were told that if we don’t change how we treat our planet, there will be no recovery from the damage we’ve inflicted.

With only eight years left to reverse this trajectory, we aim to respond to the existential artistry of our time and the destruction of the very environment from which art is born. What kind of art would you create if you only had 8 years left? What legacy will you leave behind?

We are a production company dedicated to producing the work of writers and creators across theatre, film and television. We challenge artists to grapple with the questions of sustainability, impact and the footprints we leave behind- both in our art and on the world.
